Rain, rain go away come back another day! Wait, scratch that! Come back in August!! Mother Nature is truly wrecking havoc this Spring! SD is going to become another Atlantis City soon and so are many other states. Every morning I wake up and see the same forecast for the day...rain, rain and more rain which is causing devasting flooding! And tornados! I don't recall ever hearing about so many as I have these past few weeks! I hope all of you are safe and stay safe throughout this crazy weather!

We are also celebrating "Halloween in June"!! I know I'm always "rush stitching" my Halloween projects as this holiday just seems to sneak up on me. JUNE RELEASES!!!
"SWEET LAND OF LIBERTY" ~~ A darling red, white and blue picnic basket, complete with stars! Our Patriotic basket is filled with ripe, delicious red apples, just waiting to be eaten at your picnic! Sweet basket, Sweet apples, Sweet Land of Liberty, all encompassed by a red, white and blue border including stars on a blue field in the corners. Model stitched by Linda S. on coffee dyed fabric.

"EAT CHOCOLATE!!" ~~ Who will agree with me? Exercise is a dirty word!!! It is in my book!! Everytime I say "Exercise" I wash my mouth out with soap..NOT! I use CHOCOLATE!!!! This delicous design of rich, mouth-watering chocolates, topped with delicate pink icing, will have you craving for chocolate while you stitch! (at least that is what my model stitcher is telling me!) The design model is being stitched on DMC Impressions Rose fabric.

"BAD DAY" ~~ Admit it stitchers, we've all had them!!! You dropped the container of milk, burned the toasted, spilled coffee on your white shirt, locked your keys in the car, the computer is just not computer friendly, the kids are running amok and the phone has just NOT stopped ringing. By the end of the day you are totally drained, hair gone wild, shoulders slumped and you say to yourself "was today really necessary?"

"BEAR*BEE BUZZZZZZZ" ~~ Everyone knows, bears LOVE honey. Everyone knows, bee's are protective of their honey. And lastly, everyone knows, bears will do ANYTHING to get their furry lil paws on honey. 3 very creative, ingenious bears disguise themselves in a most imaginative way to get their fill of honey from an enchanting honeybee house! One has even gone to the extreme and has climbed into the honeycomb house! Model stitched with "Carrie's Threads"; the chart comes with the DMC conversion.

"BERRIES N' LADYBUG*BEARS" ~~ After snacking on some delicously sweet honey, the 3 bears wonder off into a field and lo and behold, what do they see? A strawberry bush filled with lucious, mouth-watering, ripe strawberries just ready to be eaten! However, in front of the bush is a sign "Ladybugs Welcome". So what do you think our 3 bears do? Yep, you guessed correctly, now they are disguised as adorable Ladybugs! The bears are enjoying their delectable treat so much, that one manages to climb into the bush! Can you find him amongst the strawberries? Design is charted with "Carrie's Threads" and includes DMC conversion.

"SUMMER" ~~ VeeandCo's second design in this series of seasonal motiffs. This design is filled with Summer memories...a delicious slice of cool, sweet watermelon to cool your thirst; popping a ripened strawberry into your mouth as you pass the picnic table; the bees humming around the blooming flowers; and as the sun begins to set, the lil froglets croaking their goodnights as you wait for the fireworks display to appear in the darkened sky. "SPRING"~~The first in a series of seasonal motifs. Using the unique Veeandco font design, this chart depicts fluttering butterflies, the ever present spring tulips and 2 freshly hatched bluebirds, chirping happily away. Many thanks to Joni Merritt for stitching this beautiful model.

"MELON SITTERS" ~ 2 of the 3 Sunflower Sitters have left their sunflower perch and are guarding the watermelon! Well, they'd like us to think that! Delicate melon flowers adorn this specially chosen melon. The mouth-watering melon is beautifully stitched with "Carrie's Threads"; chart comes with DMC conversion.

"FROGS N' DRAGONFLIES BISCORNU" ~~ Once again, VeeandCo's Biscornu Queen, Wanda Flippo, has outdone herself with her model stitching. This stunning biscornu is adorned with friendly, cute as a button froglets, hiding in the water on precious lilypads. Dainty dragonflies are buzzing ever so gently above them. The reverse side has 4 sets of lilypads with delicate white flowers along with 4 dragonflies gliding in the gentle breeze.

"MELONS ON THE VINE"~ A wonderful biscornu of fresh watermelon slices, daintily entwined among the vines. The reverse side, of course, is the ever-present melon flowers! Many thanks to my model stitcher, Wanda Flippo, my "Biscornu Queen" for stitching/finishing these biscornu designs for me.

"BUTTERFLIES N' ROSES" ~ Another gorgeous biscornu with the signs of Spring! A dozen, brightly colored butterflies, flittering around exquiste red roses. The reverse side has another dozen butterflies just waiting for their chance to inhale the rich, fresh, rose scent.
